Welcome Christmas!

(Click on the image to enlarge and see it better.)
As I write this, Christmas music is blaring downstairs, a fire is blazing in the fireplace, and there's a fresh layer of sparkling white snow on the ground. Yes, the Christmas season has arrived in Colorado!
Every other year we get a tree cutting permit and cut our own tree, the weekend after Thanksgiving. It is such a wonderful family tradition. We bring hot chocolate, snacks, and trudge through the forest, to find "just the right tree". This year, there was a minimum of arguments as to which one was "just the right tree".
There may still be time to find your "just the right tree". Visit http://www.fs.fed.us/r2/recreation/christmas/index.shtml
Where else can you get a 12-14 foot tree for $10.00? Maybe not as full and thick as a lot tree, but when decorated.......Gorgeous. And the memories.......invaluable!
