Homecoming!

What a weekend! Friday was the homecoming assembly. We have the most AMAZING spirit director. She puts together a production during the assembly and game halftime that is the talk of the town. It is a huge production with about 100 or more students. This year the theme was "Hollywood - A Red Carpet Affair". Poms were Marilyn Monroe's, Cheer was Madonna, "Man" Poms were Elvis, JV Pom were 50's dancers fans screaming after the Elvis's.
Man Poms has become quite popular. Twice a year, a bunch of the guys dance for two selected events. It is so fun to see these big football players dance. Some of them are quite good! This year's extravaganza did not disappoint. It came complete with huge Oscar statues, a evening gown fashion show, serenaded by the school's top singer, and of course plenty of red carpets!

Friday night, my husband surprised me with guests for dinner. Last minute, but we had fun seeing old friends that were in town. Saturday was the football game. We Won!!! By a lot!! Left the game early, to squeeze in a senior shoot, for a young man from a neighboring school. Then it was everyone to my house, for photos, before the dance. We had about twenty kids. Some that I had releases for are shown above. Aren't they gorgeous!
Did it end there? No Way! After the dance we had about 10 girls spend the night. Fed them pancakes this morning before they were on their way.....to sleep! Me and my boys are on our way to the giant corn maze. Don't you LOVE fall?!!
