Why I love senior photography

I was fortunate enough to spend my birthday, the other day, out to dinner with a group of special people. Two of those individuals happened to be students at PHS. It reminded me why I love my job so much, and why I have a special place in my heart for high school seniors. These kids are smart. They are involved. They are talented. They are leaders in their school, and will be future leaders in their careers, and communities. They are motivated. They are caring. They have the world before them, and anything is still possible, just given some time and effort.

Each and every senior I photographed last summer had their own special strengths, their own special qualities, and their own special beauty. I am so lucky to be able to share a little piece of their journey, and document that special time in their lives. I am proud to know them and proud of their acheivements.

I am especially proud of these two high school students. (Shown here having some fun right before their Sadie Hawkins dance.) These are the two I mentioned above. One, I am lucky to call my daughter, the other, her boyfriend. The more I get to know him, the more impressed I am. He is truely serving as an outstanding role model to my younger boys.

These kids, who photos grace my blog, and my website, are all heros in my eyes and a bright future for our world.

Okay, I'm getting really sappy now, so I'll quit. However, I really am looking forward to this summer, and all the 2008 seniors! I'm already starting to book, so shoot me an email or give me a call to get on the list!
